77,164 Steps In 17 Hours and 48 Minutes

I posted a few weeks ago that Danny Chew was planning on climbing up Pitt’s Cathedral of Learning at least 100 times. He made it 101 times for a total of 77,164 steps which is 44,440 vertical feet. It took him 17 hours and 48 minutes. He has a report with links to pictures posted on his website.

This would be a much better post if you were reporting that Chew FELL DOWN 77,164 steps. And it took him 17 hours and 48 minutes to finish bouncing his way down. And they were cement. And each was about a 3 foot drop. And he managed to land on his head on each step all the way down…
    It’s not that I don’t like the guy, but…

Anonymous..if you don’t like Danny then best to keep your comments to yourself. Let it go!

    Doug,
Sorry, I didn’t know you were the “Thought Policeman” for this board. Next time I’ll get my opinion cleared by you before posting.
I won’t have another “Doug Unapproved Thought”…I PROMISE!
    Clown.

    Clown,

You say you’re “sorry”, but you have a strange way of saying it. But anyway, apology accepted.

    Sincerely,
    Doug

    Doug,
I’m “anonymous”. You are a clown. A goofy “Thought Policeman Clown”, fortunately, I’m not scared of clowns.
I was being facetious when I “apologized” to you. I know that is a big word and you might have to look it up. Take your time…
Point is, my opinion of Chew (or YOU for that matter) is my opinion. You can disagree with my opinion, but that certainly does not invalidate it.
I doubt you’ve met the man (Chew). I have. That probably makes my opinion a little more valid than yours.
You are entitled to your opinion, you are not entitled to tell me what mine should be. Clown.
    Lovingly yours,

Anonymous…hey this is fun. Look at my comments above. At what point do I ever say you can’t have an opinion. You are only seeing what you want to see. You also seem to think you know a lot about me. You assume I don’t know Danny. Well, you are wrong, I’ve known Danny since 1977 when I used to ride club races and club training rides with him in Pittsburgh. Let’s see….hmmmmm….hey, that’s 30 years. I’m not saying everybody has to like everyone. I’m just saying if you have to be that mean it’s time to LET IT GO MAN! It’s eating you up!

Rob….sorry to be taking up space on your blog.

    Peace,
    Doug

    Thought Policeman,
Do you remember writting “keep your comments to yourself”? I’ll help you, it was in your first post here.
That, my friend, is the equivalent of telling me not to have an opinion (or at least not to voice it). You don’t know me well enough to “keep my thoughts to myself”.
I also didn’t say you didn’t know Chew. You are seeing what you want to see. I said, “I doubt you’ve met the man”. See…the word “DOUBT” makes that non-definitive. Could be right, could be wrong. Could be you are making up knowing him for 30 years. It DEFINITELY doesn’t matter. If you gave BIRTH to him, I’d still have an opinion about him. That doesn’t mean it has to agree with your opinion and I’d never tell you that you should keep your opinion to yourself. I’m not like that. Only you are that close-minded.
Most would have seen my initial post as……a JOKE (probably should define that for you, you seem to lack a sense of humor). Not you, my thought control friend. Before you got so fired up, perhaps you could have paused….hmmmmm. Is what this knucklehead said even possible? Did he really mean that? Is there any bit of humor I can find here? No, these things never crossed your mind.
I’m going to step out and ride my bike for a couple of hours.
I doubt I’ll have the energy to reply to your inevitably insipid response.
