Whether your preferred method of slippin' and slidin' is on skis, a slitboard, or snowshoes, the Targhee's VertFlex suspension system keeps the pack from wobbling and lays down the freedom of movement that you need on the ascent and descent. VertFlex works in tandem with the Targhee's lightweight frame sheet for extra support, and there's also a padded snow shedding back panel to provide some structure and high density foam on the hip belt to take the load off your shoulders.The Targhee 32 is the middle child in the Targhee family, with enough room to carry everything you need for a seriously long day tour, quick overnight, or day of guiding. Its full back panel opening makes it easy to dig out layers, gloves, and snacks while the wide top opening makes it easy to fish out your shell. Gregory also added an insulated hydration sleeve to keep your reservoir from freezing solid. The Targhee was designed with stowable carry systems to pack skis diagonally or in an A frame configuration, snowboards vertically, and snowshoes on the back, and included a stowable helmet carrying system so you don't have to leave your dome piece at home and bits of gray matter on the hill. A special pocket makes your avy gear easy to access, and additional pockets at the top and hip belt keep your goggles scratch free and your inclinometer handy.
