The Petzl Pirana is a descender with three braking positions designed for use with canyoning descent techniques. The Pirana helps to prevent the formation of a lark's head hitch around the body and reduces rope twisting without decreasing brake friction. This carabiner provides a tight fit in the small hole to create a rigid carabinerdescender unit.
