The short overall employs a supportive, tailored fit not far off from the fit of a more race ready design, but with the ability to remain comfortable and more forgiving throughout a Gran Fondo or bike tour. It's hard to look at the Lungo and not notice its wide, supportive waistband, which Giordana constructed using crossover, scooped shaping to provide support that doesn't awkwardly cut in as you're stretched out over the bars. We've seen other manufacturers borrowing inspiration for waistband design from yoga, and with the Lungo, Giordana flawlessly adapts the design to the needs of cyclists. The Lungo is lined with Giordana's Cirro chamois, which was updated this year with a slimmer, lower profile design.
