Rather than sticking to the same cycling specific fabrics for 2016, Giordana turned to the swim and undergarment industries for a fresh take on athletic fabrics. It developed proprietary blends that resemble their non cycling ancestors in their ability to dry quickly and wick moisture but without feeling anything like a bathing suit. The supple, soft fabric that constitutes the Lungo achieves a tailored, close fit that's slightly more forgiving than the NX G or Forma Red Carbon lines. Giordana also takes the extra step of crafting the shoulders in a hammerhead design to reduce bunching and flapping fabric when you're stretched out in the drops.
