Light, Agile and commanding. The Synapse Carbon 92 provides precision edge control and the lightweight structure to go for distant and obscure peaks. The Synapse Carbon 92 is the balance between edge control and float. A rockered tip, camber underfoot and a low rise tail give the ski the ability to rise on top of soft snow while the traditional camber and 18 meter turn radius provide great dexterity. The mix of poplar and paulownia hardwoods give the ski a distinct pop and playfulness while two sets of carbon laminates add torsional stiffness for a balanced feel. Being 92mm underfoot gives the Synapse fantastic edge to edge transfer while the low rise tail lets the rider execute the end of the turn with power. Touring distant peaks or just having the need to carve, the Synapse Carbon 92 performs. The core of the Synapse starts with a poplar and paulownia blend. The combination of these hardwoods gives the ski a fun and playful flex. To excel in the backcountry, quadraxial and triaxial carbon fiber laminates are used. These help by increasing the torsional stiffness and keeping the ski light. A titanal binding plate is added for extra durability and drive from the binding mount. Lastly, ABSTPU sidewalls are used for strength and more torsional stiffness.
