The route from Colorado Springs is quite simple. Head west to Manitou Springs and take US 24 to CO 82. Turn left on CO 82 and take it to Glenwood Springs. From my house to the hotel I used in 2002, it was 203.02 miles with 10,282 feet of climbing and 10,696 feet of descending.
