Sierra Design's Dual Temp Technology consists of a baffled, down panel that tucks inside the outer layer of the sleeping bag, over the torso, and boosts warmth ratings to 15 degrees. On warmer nights the down torso panel can be removed, via small snaps, and the overall temperature of the bag becomes 30 degrees. When not in use the down torso panel can be stuffed into the pillow pocket for a super soft and comfortable pillow.Sierra Designs utilizes their own Core Comfort Technology CCT which is a unique, insulation construction method that uses a body mapping process to prioritize the location of down within the sleeping bag to increase warmth in the places you need it most, like the torso and feet. Less insulation is used in areas where the human body doesn't lose as much heat, like the lower legs, and results in weight savings. Maximum warmth and loft over the torso and in the foot box are created by an advanced, double baffle system.
