This treatment results in insulation that stays dry up to 10 times longer and dries 33% faster, should it become wet, than untreated down bags. Unlike traditional mummy style sleeping bags, which can be restrictive for campers who tend to change position frequently throughout the night or who don't sleep stick straight on their backs, the Mobile Mummy bag is designed to move with you whether you're fast asleep or up and about making breakfast in camp. The garment style design through the shoulders allows the bag to rest there instead of your head, so if you sit up with the hood on, the Mobile Mummy sits up too without applying uncomfortable pressure to your head and neck. And that hood has no cords or toggles, but just fits snug around your face like the hood on your favorite insulated jacket. The armports are zipperless and also free of any other uncomfortable hardware like toggles or hook and loop closures. They, like the hood, central zipper, draft collar, draft tube and draft curtains are all reinforced with additional interior down baffling to prevent cold air drafts.
