The 3. 3 millimeter wider profile over the previous iteration makes the M8020 Trail Pedal even more competent in wild terrain, facilitating quick engagement without endlessly searching for the pedal platform. Other than the slightly wider surface, the M8020 Trail Pedal retains the bombproof characteristics of the legendary PD M785 with cro moly construction and sealed cartridge bearings. Two sided engagement makes easy work of clipping in, especially after dismounting across steep uphill sections and technical stretches. Another benefit, the cleat to pedal interface avoids mud buildup, even in nasty trail conditions. Other notable features include four degrees of float and integration with the included 2 bolt SPD cleats.
