Scott crafts the three layer shell with Gore Tex Pro New Generation 3L fabric, bred to shield you completely from wind and snow on the harshest days, while remaining breathable as you work hard. The jacket's interior includes a standard powder skirt, as well as an inner wind flap to guard against icy blasts near the summit. Scott purposely left the jacket's shoulders seam free to make it more comfortable to wear with a pack, and added a push button adjustment system to the hem and hood this year to make fit tweaks on the bootpack fast and simple. Laser cut seaming along the chest pockets and venting contributes to the jacket's clean look while shaving ounces, and the helmet compatible hood is able to be rolled down and secured to the jacket's collar on days when you need it out of the way.
