SRAM's Red X Glide Chainring is ridiculously responsive, though, so you'll never have to wait for your chain to drop down or jump a ring when you really need it to. By redesigning the chainring to better align with the chain's pins and increasing the number of points where shifts can engage, SRAM was able to speed up shifting to light speed levels, so there's never a delay between moving the lever and switching up your gearing. SRAM manufactured the Red X Glide from CNC machined 7075 T6 aluminum for serious stiffness, and designed it with a multitude of BCDs, teeth options, and colors, so you can find the perfect one.
