Add Rio's Skagit Trout Max Shooting Head to your running line when you want some power behind your spey cast. Great for making short, two handed spey casts where space is limited, this skagit head can be paired with either a mow sink tip when swinging heavily weighted streamer patterns, or paired with a long, tapered leader when swinging soft hackles. Although the Skagit Trout Max Shooting Head was designed for the array of two handed trout switch rods out there, it can also be paired with a single handed rod by pairing the line with a rod three sizes larger than the line weight. For example, the two weight would pair with a 5wt single handed rod, and the three weight line would pair nicely with your 6wt rod.
