Profile Design T2+ Cobra Carbon Clip On TT Bar

Profile Design is a veritable one stop shop for customizing your time trial or triathlon position. In addition to several base bars, they also have over a half dozen extensions to choose from. The T2 Carbon Clip On TT Bars are one of the more popular extension shapes for anyone who needs to maximum hand positions and comfort. Rather than a gradual upward ski bend curve, the T2 extensions jog downward, running almost parallel to the ground. This allows your wrists to align with your forearms, while also permitting your hands to comfortably wrap around the underside of the bars. This bend has been popularized by professional cyclists and triathletes, as it's more aggressive than the traditional ski bend design the position creates a low frontal profile. The drop in the bars allows your hands to wrap around them for extra stability during hard intervals. The T2 extensions were constructed from a multi directional, multi layered carbon fiber that places an emphasis on strength and durability rather than stiffness and low weight. Additionally,the bars feature internal drilling if you choose to run bar end shifters. Profile Design mated the T2 extension with its J4 bracket. With this bracket, the armrests are set back 20mm from the center of the base bar, and they're reversible for a more forward armrest position. It's also compatible with aftermarket risers in order to elevate the armrest while maintaining a desired wrist angle. Even better, it's not difficult to adjust. In fact, it's all done with a single bolt. The T2 bars are finished with Profile's F 35, EVA molded armrests. These are adjustable for width and reach ,which allows you to position them exactly where you need them.
