Petzl Shunt Rope Clamp

Easy to apply mechanical rope clamp to replace your prussik knots. Internal cam grabs the rope when the shunt is weighted. Excellent backup device to your descender accepts double or single ropes on rappels. Requires understanding of rope systems for use brakes when device is released. Must be used in tandem with a descending device. For use on single ropes 10 mm to 11 mm or double ropes 8 mm to 11 mm. CE and UIAA certified. Weighs 188 g.
