The Farpoint 70 delivers load carrying capability, over 4000 cubic inches of storage capacity and the comfortable fit you've come to expect from Osprey.Constantly striving to enhance comfort and performance, Osprey has equipped the Farpoint 70 pack with a fully featured suspension system. In expectation of comfortably carrying loads of up to 40 pounds, the Farpoint 70 employs a LightWire frame and a spacer mesh backpanel to grant strength, stability and load transfer. Further enhancing fit, the padded hipbelt utilizes an ErgoPull closure that draws tension along the top and the bottom of the belt. A sliding sternum strap and load lifter straps allow you to fine tune fit with on the go adjustments. The Farpoint 70 comes in two sizes. The SmallMedium size accommodates torsos less than 19 in length while a MediumLarge size fits torso lengths greater than 19 inches. When checking the Farpoint 70 at the airport or the train station, you can safely tuck the harness and hipbelt behind an integrated zippered security panel to ensure that your pack stows safely.Both sizes of the Farpoint 70 offer ample room for carrying clothes and gear. The SmallMedium version provides 4000 cubic inches of storage capacity while the MediumLarge has a 4200 cubic inch capacity. The main packbag is accessed by a wide opening front panel zipper. A large, zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the front panel is ideal for separating and organizing clothes and gear. Internal compression straps allow you to safely secure the contents of the Farpoint 70. Stretch woven side pockets keep water bottles and other gear close at hand. Removable straps on the lower portion of the pack are strategically placed to haul a sleeping pad.A large pocket on the front of the Farpoint 70 can be detached entirely for use as a fully functional day pack. Integrated shoulder straps and a padded backpanel provide stability and comfort. An adjustable sternum strap further enhances fit. The day pack has zippered panel access, as well as a large front pocket. Dual stretch side pockets offer additional storage options. An internal sleeve makes the day pack hydration system not included compatible and doubles as a laptop sleeve.
