Nordica gave it a tapered tail that makes it easy to break out of turns if you're feeling a little bit surfy on a powder day and reinforced the steel edges with rubber sheets to give the NRGy a damp and reliable feel.Of course, a ski's only as good as what's on the inside, which is why Nordica took great care to design the NRGy with a lively wood I Core Ti core, which features Torsion Bridge technology, a specially machined layer of Titanal that adds plenty of edge to edge stiffness while keeping the weight down and maintaining the ski's moderate fore aft flex. Add in four layers of prepreg laminate, stiff and durable ABS sidewalls, and a quick sintered UHMW base, and you have a ski that's as all mountain ready as they come.
