Its dual compound technology employs new silica based compounds and elastomers. The compound used for the central part of the tread has been selected for long tire life and low rolling resistance, while the compounds used for the shoulders favor grip as the rider leans through corners. Finally, the contact patch of the MICHELIN PRO4 COMP Limited Service Course is optimized thanks to the tire's supple casing. The use of finer threads enables it to soak up irregularities in the road surface.
