The new Lezyne Mini GPS HRSC Loaded Bike Computer may look similar to its predecessor, but adds a massive range of functionality that's otherwise unheard of in computers at its price point. The most notable change is the advent of Bluetooth compatibility, which was previously only employed by its decidedly non mini compatriots such as the Super and Power GPS models. Its use of a rare earth magnet helps extend the range of engagement, eliminating the will itwon't it anxiety of the millimeter spacing between sensor arm and spokes required by other sensor suites. This lets you take full advantage of the versatile mounting and adjustable swing arm, and an LED power indicator warns when the unit needs a nap. The included Heart Rate Flow sensor also communicates with the Mini via Bluetooth, and features a soft, comfortable band that's a far cry from traditional, uncomfortable plastic models. Its LED indicator lets you know when the CR2032 battery's running on fumes, which is easily replaceable with a quick jaunt to the nearest convenience store. With Bluetooth comes the link to the ever present smartphone, and the Mini GPS takes advantage by using Lezyne's Ally app to provide the kind of smart services that let us turn off our own head units and shuttle all the blood to our legs.
