Incorporating a positive angle into the compact right and left hand grips, Thermolite poles preserve a more neutral ergonomic position for your wrist and hand, allowing for comfort and precise tip placement. Integrated straps further reduce stress on your wrists and provide additional security and comfort. LEKI's Super Lock System SLS uses wide thread patterns and steep angled lock mechanisms to provide quicker and easier adjustments and is up to 60 times more secure than other locking systems. The SLS locking system is far less prone to loosening while in use, giving you peace of mind even in challenging situations. Thermolite poles employ carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of pole breakage if the pole should get caught between rocks or tree roots on the trail. Standard trekking baskets are included and are interchangeable with a simple screw onoff design that stays secure. Optional snowflake and deep powder baskets sold separately allow the poles to be converted for winter use. LEKI Thermolite poles are sold in pairs.
