The three layer shell, taped seams, and fully adjustable hood offer serious protection against mountain weather, while the jacket's underarm zips, adjustable hem, and full length front zip let you quickly lose excess heat if things should start to get too toasty. The Allgron's simple, yet intuitive design puts two large pockets along the torso of the jacket, making them pack strap and harness compatible, and the soft brushed hood and collar lining is there to add a soft and insulating feel around the face for added comfort and warmth when you're adventuring in the harsh and abrasive mountains.
