Weighing in at four pounds, the Kelty TN2 Tent has a surprising amount of features to keep even the most minimalist backpackers happy and protected from fall to spring. A stargazing fly rolls up and down quickly in case of a storm, and the tent cube packs the tent down to a minimum for more space in backpacks. The lightweight DAC Pressfit poles snap into the tent's color coded clips quickly, and Jake's Foot makes this tent freestanding. Kelty constructed the TN2's walls out of no see um mesh for ventilation, the floor out of nylon for durability, and the fly out of sil nylon ripstop to keep the tent as light as possible. Kelty also added PU coatings and taped the seams on the floor and fly for excellent water resistance as well as abrasion resistance. The TN2 also features two oversize doors and two vestibules so backpackers don't have to climb over one another or share a spot for gear. Guyout points help set up the tent quickly, and noiseless zippers offer an undisturbed sleep on a breezy night. The TN2 also has internal storage pockets so everyone can remain organized for the entire trip.
