Boasting a stable, well ventilated suspension system, innovative access and organizational features and a sleek profile, the Kelty Rally 45 offers versatile performance for day hiking, overnighters or lightweight weekend backpacking.A lightweight aluminum wire frame provides the Rally 45 with excellent stability and helps transfer load to your hips, relieving stress on your shoulders and back. A suspended, mesh backpanel allows air to pass between your back and the pack itself, helping to keep you cool and dry. Molded scapula and lumbar padding enhances comfort and further increases airflow. Ensuring a comfortable fit, the Rally 45 is available in two sizes. The SmallMedium size accommodates torsos ranging from 14.5 18.5 while the MediumLarge fits 17.5 21 torsos. Load lifter straps relieve stress on your shoulders and an adjustable sternum strap positions the shoulder straps across the chest to prevent chafing under the arms and on the shoulders. Side compression straps help you to cinch and secure the contents of the Rally 45 for optimal balance and load distribution. The Rally 45's top loading main compartment offers 2745 cubic inches of storage capacity. An innovative design on the lowest portion of the packbag provides wide access through the bottom of pack. This feature makes it much easier to get a sleeping bag in and out of the Rally 45 than is often the case with the compartment access on comparably sized packs. An additional zippered entry on the front of the pack grants quick access to the interior of the pack without having to remove the lid. A large zippered pocket on the front of the pack and a zippered pocket on the lid of the pack provide other options for stowing gear.Other features found on the Rally 45 include ice axe loops, zippered waistbelt pockets, side stretch mesh water bottle pockets, a daisy chain attachment system, an integrated haul handle and a removable rain cover.
