This lightweight and moderately cushioned shoe strikes a healthy balance between cushioning and responsiveness, so you can actually feel the ground beneath your feet, without feeling every rock and pebble in the process. For cushioning, the Tracer utilizes Hoka One One's Pro2Lite 10 midsole with about 22mm of padding in the heel and 18mm in the forefoot. The ultralight upper is composed of a synthetic mesh to keep a steady supply of cool air passing through the shoe while TPU overlays support the foot. The sole is durable, but light thanks to a combination of strategically placed rubber for enhanced durability and a lightweight material throughout the rest of the sole to give the shoe a remarkably light feel.
