Striking a balance between weight and durability, the high performance Gregory J38 Women's pack gives female hikers a versatile option for day hiking or ultra lightweight overnight trips. Despite its lightweight design, the J38 Women's pack comfortably carries up to 35 pounds!Addressing the different wants and needs of male and female hikers, Gregory incorporates contoured shoulder harnesses, narrower backpanels and pre curved hipbelts into its series of women's specific packs. These packs are designed and tested by women to ensure that their performance meets the expectations of female adventurers.Well aware of the problems that arise from ill fitting backpacks, Gregory is committed to providing fit, comfort and load carrying capability. This commitment is evident in the technology used in the J38 Women's pack's harness and CrossFlo suspension system. A lightweight wire X Frame and a trampoline style backpanel work in tandem to support the stability of the J38 Women's by distributing weight evenly and transferring the load to the lumbar pad and waist belt. Die cut foam on the harness and waist belt adds breathability and decreases weight. The ventilated moisture wicking harnesses, waistbelt and backpanel enhance fit, aid in load transfer, provide cushioning and keep you cool on the trail. An adjustable sternum strap and load lifter straps further enhance the fit of the J38 and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient on the go adjustment.The single main compartment of the J38 Women's has an extendible drawstring closed top entry, and a U shape zippered entry allows full front access to the pack body. A large zippered front pocket provides a secure place to secure additional gear and a huge bucket pocket with mesh sides offers convenient storage for gear or wet clothes. The J38 Women's pack's top pocket has a key clip and a second stash compartment on the underside. All of the zippers used on the J38 are designed to be weather resistant.The J38 Women's also includes side and bottom compression straps, quick access waistbelt pockets, two exterior stretch water bottle pockets and hideaway gear loops. An integrated sleeve and exit port make the J38 Women's compatible with a hydration system sold separately.
