In the crushing cold of winter, Jack Frost is relentless. No matter how clean and clear the air feels, honestly, we get agitated with his constant ear biting. Thankfully, we have a secret weapon against these assaults the Gore Bike Wear Universal SO Headband. To protect your ears from frostbite, Gore constructed the Universal SO headband from its Windstopper membrane fabric. Not surprisingly, this material does what its name says it stops wind. Now, we know that plenty of companies lay claims to being windproof, but no one shares the same pedigree as Gore. From the illustrious GoreTex to various iterations of Windstopper, Gore has proven that it's capable of dealing in absolutes. In addition to blocking out the wind, Windstopper fabric is highly breathable. This allows body heat to escape, while retaining just enough to provide a consistent level of thermo regulation. As an added benefit, it is also water resistant. The headband was designed to easily slip over your head. A slightly wider cut in the back and through the sides provides ample coverage for your ears. To keep the band in place, it features an elastic binding along the edges and an extra bit of elastic at the rear. And to make sure that abrasion is a non issue, Gore also used flatlock seams throughout the headband. For added visibility to motorists in low light conditions, a reflective logo was placed on the side. The Gore Bike Wear Universal SO Headband is available as a one size fits most and in the colors Black and Neon Yellowblack
