Gore has made a name through its innovative weather proof laminates, like the Gore Tex stretch inserts used on the OverShoe. These allow the RoadShoe to snugly fit over cycling shoes and avoid annoying flapping when pushing through a headwind. It also ensures your feet stay warm, and, most importantly, dry if you happen to run into a storm. Along the sole, an abrasion resistant material is added around the cleat cut out to prevent premature failure, and a cut out at the heel ensures sure footed walking. At the ankle, a neoprene cuff and hook and loop closure offers a weather proof seal.
