Featuring updated leg bands and an upgrade to HG50 Lycra, this year's FR C blends the very best of new and old. In replacing HG44 Lycra with its successor, HG50, Giordana maintains the compressive fit that the FR C made its name with. However, unlike earlier Lycras, HG50 comes with a softer, gentler feel once its in position on your body in the saddle, meaning that feeling supported doesn't have to also mean feeling slightly squished as you ride. Giordana complemented the more comfortable main body of the short by in turn updating the leg grippers as well. They too now boast a more stabilizing fit in a supple material that won't pinch over the miles. Aside from those changes, you can rest easy knowing the top tier chamois, impeccable fit, and minimal bib design remain unaltered.
