Nobody understands how to make technical and lightweight ski touring gear better than Dynafit, but there's more to the backcountry than skintrack performance, so the company's expanding into freeride touring with gear like the Yotei Gore Tex Men's Pant. It's designed with a slightly more relaxed fit than Dynafit's speed touring and and ski mountaineering gear, so freeskiers turned backcountry fiends will feel right at home, but it still boasts the lightweight and highly technical design specs for which Dynafit is known, like a waterproof and breathable Gore Tex C Knit membrane, fully taped seams, and zip off stretch bib. Combined with the stretchy ankle gaiters, these features will keep you dry whether you're skinning up in a blizzard, braving soggy springtime storms, or tearing up chest deep champagne pow on the descent, and the Yotei's articulated knees and outer thigh vents will keep you mobile and cool, respectively, when you're four hours into a tough all day mission. Best of all, if you feel the need to pop your pants off over your boots and rip your line in the buff, just unhook the waist adjustment tabs, pull open the ankle zips, and sling your pants over your shoulder as you enjoy some pow au naturel.
