Moist air can freely escape through the space created between the pack body and your back, preventing heat buildup. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and VARIFLEX pivoting hipbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. Load adjuster straps and shoulder and lumbar padding further aid in the effective distribution of weight throughout the pack. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, further securing contents and ensuring stabilization of the load.A zippered divider between the Futura Pro 42's top loading main compartment and front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the Futura Pro 42 to a single, large compartment. An additional large front zippered pocket offers organizational options and increased storage. Internal and external zippered pockets on the Futura Pro 42's lid and zippered side bellows pockets provide further storage options. A front stash pocket with weather resistant zipper offers convenient, easy access to stowed gear.Other special features of the Futura Pro 42 include ice axetrekking pole loops, top lid attachment rings, and an integrated rain cover for protecting your pack against the elements.
