The hipbelt has been given a more conical shape to provide a proper anatomical fit. The shoulder straps of the SL packs have been set closer together, are narrower and shorter in length, and have smaller buckles and narrower tapered strap ends to prevent chafing under the arms and eliminate pressure points in the chest area. The Futura Pro 34 SL Women's pack utilizes the Aircomfort Futura Pro Back System, consisting of a lightweight, flexible, anatomically shaped spring steel frame that hugs your torso and supports and adds tension to a mesh back panel. Moist air can freely escape through the space created between the pack body and your back, preventing heat build up. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and pivoting hipbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. Load lifter straps, and shoulder and lumbar padding further aid in the effective distribution of weight throughout the pack. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, further securing contents and ensuring stabilization of the load.A zippered divider between the Futura Pro 34 SL Women's top loading main compartment and front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the Futura Pro 34 SL Women's pack to a single, large compartment.
