Ominous clouds on the horizon can be pretty scary when you're 40 miles out with no shelter in sight. Fortunately, your Castelli Sottile Due jacket can hold off the worst of nature's onslaught while you pedal for home. Small enough to pack into a jersey pocket, the Sottile Due is made for just such an emergency, and it meets the challenge well. Castelli made the Sottile Due jacket with a blend of breathable wind and water resistant fabrics. Castelli also added mesh panels at the underarms for added breathability and airflow. The body panels are semi transparent, so you kit and race number stay visible as you ride through the storm. The fit is fairly trim. This keeps the Sottlie Due a packable size and reduces the garbage bag effect from which many rain jackets suffer. The Sottile Due was made with a full length contrasting zipper for additional airflow and easy removal. Rounded elastic banding at the hem and cuffs keep the jacket securely in place. A single side zipper allows access to jersey pockets, and reflective elements make you more visible in traffic
