While mountain bikes come in all shapes in sizes today, there's something about the simplicity and grandeur of the hardtail mountain bike. 27.5 mountain bikes are said to be the perfect size for mid height riders and for good reason. With an improved angle of attack, a 27.5 wheel will roll over faster and easier than a 26 inch wheel. The larger the wheel, the smaller the obstacle relative to the wheel. Sounds easy enough and when you encounter a log or a rock, you quickly learn that this is true. Also, the 27.5 wheel offers improved agility. It's easy to get off the ground and get some air, and it's easier to maneuver through winding and tight singletrack lined with precarious branches. Plus, the 27.5 wheel size yields a lower center of gravity for more stability byway of the relative position of the bottom bracket to the wheel axle. The Breezer aluminum D'Fusion frame features a tapered head tube and a BB92 press fit bottom bracket for stiffness and improved power transfer. A gorgeous Fox 36 Float fork with a blinging Kashima coat and 160mm of travel delivers unparalleled trail precision. Its 3 position FIT technology lets you custom tune your fork to any trail and grade you'll encounter. The Fox rear shock boasts equal travel and displays the same golden, buttery Kashima finish. If you've been out of the loop with new bikes for a few years, the loop is traversed with 11 speeds. The Repack Team joins a Race Face Affect SL crankset with a single 30 tooth ring to a Shimano XT 11 speed drivetrain. XT 11 speed shifters fly up and down the 1142 cassette. While it may seem that you're missing a few rings on your crankset, this gear configuration supplies ample amount of chain tension for both big ascents and hair raising descents. WTB Frequency Race i25 TCS 27.5 rims are laced to Shimano XT hubs with thru axles, front and rear. These rims are tubeless ready and are outfitted with Breezer's custom front and rear tire choice: a WTB Breakout 27.5x2.5 TCS light front and a WTB Riddler 27.5x2.4 TCS light rear.
