Black Diamond's Ascension Nylon STS Skins provide excellent grip and climbing performance. They have been recently updated with a printed plush material for improved glide. The brand's patented STS tail system gives the skins up to 10 cm of adjustability and they also have an adjustable tip attachment to help them fit a variety of different ski tips. They are easy to adjust for different sets of skis but you can also set them up for a single pair to facilitate quick transitions. The Ascension Skins come in 15 mm width increments and weigh 1 lb 10 oz per pair.
