Just the board for ripping natural terrain, the Omni Snowboard is the freeride favorite in Bataleon's line. Its flex sits just above mid range, delivering stability and solid landings, without being too stiff for taking your tricks to natural terrain. Backseat inserts allow you to slam back your stance in deep powder, working in conjunction with the board's directional twin shape for added buoyancy. Freeride Triple Base Technology 3BT provides the baseline for the Omni's freeride mentality, giving you the powerful edge hold and response of camber for riding steeps and natural terrain. Unlike a regular camber board, 3BT upturns the board's sidebases along the tip and tail for fluid edge to edge transitions and better float. This particular version of Freeride 3BT has larger upturned sidebases along the nose than tail, fluidly dispersing snow like the hull of a ship. Ultimately, this upturned nose charges through everything from two feet of fresh to springtime chop without bucking you off balance or submerging. Volcanic basalt stringers are integrated into the Reactor core for spring loaded snap and extra strength when you're thrashing your board on a regular basis. The Reactor core features beech stringers along each edge, making the board stronger from impacts while enhancing edge hold for carving. For the speed you crave, the board's Super Slick extruded base is much denser than traditional extruded bases, gliding quickly while preventing scratches.
