The platform for the LL. pompaDour comes from Assos' LL. uma that it replaces, but the pattern has been revised to mimic the LL. 716's twinDeck foiling technology. What this means is that instead of using a bulky and inflexible membrane for the thigh and knee panels, Assos employed a specific double layer construction Assos' RXQ fleece backed material provides next to skin comfort and light insulation, with a layer of its proprietary Stratagon ultralight membrane keeping you shielded from the cold, wind, and light rain. Together, this dual layer system provides total freedom of knee movement, while still providing exceptional comfort and protection from the elements. The LL. pompaDour was constructed using four panels, six different textiles, and 10 components. For the majority of the paneling, Assos' RXplus fabric was used.
