The Zipp Vukabull Carbon Base Bar is not only the result of aerodynamic testing and weight saving efforts, it's also the result of Zipp talking to its users to get a better idea of what people actually want. The end product is aerodynamic, incredibly lightweight, and comfortable. The Vukabull starts with an airfoil shape. Modeled after an airplane wing, the Vukabull creates the lowest amount of drag possible. It's also unbelievably lightweight at just 202 grams. When designers asked customers what they would like in a base bar, they found that people wanted a wider clamp area and a more secure area to grip in the tucked position. Zipp built the Vukabull with a wide 120mm clamp area, then added an area at the front of the bar with a 5mm upsweep for a more secure feel while tucked. In addition to this comfort feature, the Vukabull is available with either a flat profile or in a 40mm drop version.
