Zipp's new SL 70 Aero Carbon Handlebar builds on the legacy of the VukaSprint to offer a road handlebar with unrivaled fit and aerodynamic performance. Manufactured from unidirectional carbon fiber, the SL 70 features a distinctive wing shape that uses Computational Fluid Dynamics, the same software used to design Zipp's acclaimed Firecrest wheels. And, surprise, CFD got it right. According to Zipp, the SL 70's new airfoil shaped section saves you 6. 4 watts at 30 mph over a traditional round tube section. The SL 70s ensure precise steering with a 70mm reach, and a 128mm drop gives you plenty of for adjustments. The drops curve outward at a 4 degree angle, allowing you to tuck in a more aerodynamic position with more stability. The brake hood mount area features a 10 degree ramp angle, so you won't have to rotate the bars to find the right brake hood position.
