This last, combined with a broad toe box, offers long term comfort from the inevitable swelling that takes place during endurance trail running or the 25 mile days so common to thru hiking. The Mindbender's Perpetuum last is formed on a straighter line and often works well for people with flatter feet. A tailored instep helps to lock the foot securely in place to minimize friction and movement. A stable midsole design of dual density EVA rubber with a TPU instep plate and textile forefoot plate provide the necessary support and underfoot protection needed for high mileage endeavors on sketchy terrain. The Vasque Blur outsole combines a well thought out lug pattern with sticky rubber for excellent grip on a variety of surfaces.An upper built from synthetic Nubuck, Airmesh and TPU weld allows for both durability and breathability with reinforcements in high wear areas.
