Viper 2.0 Carbon Steel Toe Crampon has aggressive concave tangs to provide a scooping action on soft snow and grip on hard pack and ice. Curved Traction Rails ensure side hill grip on hard pack and icy terrain, and the curved shape keeps contact with the ground on steeper terrain. The FLEX Tail allows the snowshoe to roll more naturally underfoot and it absorbs shock from the initial heel strike, reducing stress on the knees, ankles, and hips. ActiveLift 19 degree backcountry heel lift is ideal for extreme slopes. Rotating toe cord allows the tail of the snowshoe to drop shedding snow and reducing strain, Rotation Limiter prevents over rotation. Torsion Deck enhances traction biomechanics and comfort on uneven terrain.
