The Sherlock Travel Staff offers an adjustable length of 44.5 57.5 inches and collapses into two separate sections and a length of 24 inches for convenient travel and storage. An integrated push button mechanism allows the length of the staff to be adjusted in increments of 1.25 inches. The upper portion of the staff is encased in a foam sheath that protects the adjustment holes from debris and moisture and keeps the Sherlock Travel Staff working efficiently. Contoured foam material provides the Sherlock Travel Staff with a comfortable, secure grip. A woven strap reduces stress on your wrists by helping to absorb impact. A sturdy, attractive wooden knob at the top of the Sherlock Travel Staff can be removed to reveal an integrated, threaded camera mount. The Sherlock Travel Staff's functionality as a camera monopod is further enhanced by the steel spike tip hidden beneath the rubber walking foot. This spike can be driven into the ground to increase the stability of the Sherlock Travel Staff and provide the balance needed to take great photos!
