Topeak's Alien Multi Tools have become a staple in many cyclists' hydration packs due to their low weight and numerous features. For the new Alien III Multi Tool this includes 25 tools in total, all wrapped in a sub 300 gram package. Like all Aliens, the III splits in two for ease of use, but unlike the II, this one is smaller for better packability. It uses a pressed stainless steel frame with engineering grade plastic to provide the strength needed in a lightweight design. The tool bits are made from chromoly steel for a precise and durable tool. The Alien III is also equipped with a chain tool that's compatible with all singlespeeds, and most multi speed chains including 10 speed chains. The Alien III also comes with a chain hook to assist with chain repairs. As for Allen bits, this Alien has them covered from 2 to 10mm, with a T25 Torx also included. 8, 9, and 10mm box end wrenches, along with 14, 15, and MavicShimano spoke wrenches, and 2 Phillipsflat head screwdrivers round out the Alien III's features. The Topeak Alien III Multi Tool comes with a compartment for two chain pins and a nylon bag to protect the Alien in a pack.
