From the company that prides itself on rigid seatposts comes something with a little more flexibility. The Thomson Covert Elite Dropper Seatpost is the next generation of the Elite Dropper post designed for internally routed cables. Not content to just follow the herd, Thomson uses custom made Norglide bearing bushings, custom made Trelleborg O rings and seals. The one piece internal post is forged and has no moving parts that could cause failure. Cam action provides smooth and accurate height adjustment. Unlike many posts that turn to hydraulics, Thomson opted for cables. This both reduces the weight and increases the reliability of the system. The post is adjusted through a remote lever attached to the handlebars.
