The Solar Ultra gets its impressive trail weight from Terra Nova's proprietary ultralight Ultra fabric, which features a 10K waterproof rating and bonded seams to ensure complete waterproof protection. The floor of the tent is also made of Ultra fabric, while the inner canopy features a full mesh door to keep the tent well ventilated, so you don't wake up to a dewy cave in the morning. Terra Nova made the Super Ultra compatible with its Fastpack fast pitch system, which allows the tent to be pitched without the inner canopy although an additional footprint is required for set up.
