Although we are confident that Waterbloc will outperform any similar groundsheet fabric, we recommend the use of a groundsheet protector for extra protection against sharp objects. Terra Nova groundsheet protectors use fabrics to match the tent they are designed for. Ensuring the weight penalty is kept to a minimum on our lightweight models and our expedition tents gain the extra durability they need for the conditions they're used in.
