Featuring a wider profile and lower, thicker sidewalls for increased durability compared to its venerable predecessor, the ZTR Flow, this wheelset takes all mountain versatility to a new level. The Flow EX rolls fast over the most technical trails, resists damage from big hits, and boasts Stan's unparalleled tubeless reliability. Billed as a bombproof trail, all mountain, and enduro wheelset, the Flow EX features a wide 25. 5mm internal rim width and 29. 1mm outer width to provide a solid platform for your tire of choice. The Flow EX incorporates Stan's Bead Socket Technology BST, featuring notably low profile sidewalls that allows the tire bead to seat more effectively. BST results in an exceptional tubeless seal while also allowing the tire to hold greater air volume than standard rims, so the tire maintains its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform. Pairing BST with the ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure than on a standard clincher wheel results in more stability, better handling, solid cornering, and better overall control. These rims are also compatible with standard tubes, and the lower sidewall drastically reduces pinch flat risk by reducing the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time bunkered down in the dust wrestling with flats and more time shredding your favorite loops. Stan's new Neo OS hub set sits at the center of the Flow EX, featuring oversized, smooth bearings that glide on a strong, stiff, swaged axle. The Neo holds the bearings at a wider stance for a claimed threefold increase in strength compared to standard hub designs.
