Redesigned for this season, the Smokin KT 22 Snowboard represents the evolution of freeride shaping with its twin like design and directional core profile. Softest at the nose, the board is substantially more responsive along the rear for snapping off natural features, stomping backseat landings, and loading into carves. Much like Smokin's Jetson, the KT 22's large, spoon like tips and longer blend area deliver exceptional float in deep powder. Unlike the Jetson's true twin shape, the KT 22 has a slight stance set back for directional stability without sacrificing switch riding performance. Its WTF profile has an aggressive camber center for powerful edge hold and response underfoot. Subtle early rise tips enhance float in powder without being as drastic as many pow specific boards, allowing you to charge across hardpack without the nose chattering at high speeds. Inside this futuristic freeride board, Smokin uses a full aspen core for reliably smooth flex. Three Stage Dampening makes the board super stable when you're straight linings steeps and riding across widely variable conditions, such as chundery snow. Pop Gnarly hemp fibers along the tip and tail add spring loaded snap for boosting off cliff drops and natural hits. Other key ingredients include Mellow Magne Traction edges for locked in edge hold over hardpack, as well as a 6k sintered base that's extremely tough and highly wax absorbent for maximum glide.
