We start with Merino next to skin to manage temperature and moisture, then add SmartLoft 60g insulation for warmth without bulk. Then we add a wind resistant polyester exterior with DWR finish to keep out the elements. A leather palm adds durability. And when it's time to head inside they easily stash inside pockets.
