The Sierra Designs Nightwatch 2 FL has all of the same benefits as the popular Lightning 2 FL plus the addition of a retractable fly. The retractable fly allows for multiple ventilation options and fair weather stargazing. Another great feature of the retractable fly is when it is rolled back, the two zippers used to access the side gear ports can also be used as fully functional doors. It has very straight walls that provide incredible livable space. It has a Hybrid SingleDouble wall design that saves weight and eases set up. Set up is simple with the DAC shockcorded aluminum frame that is hubbed for speed and convenience. It is an end entry tent with an incredibly large drop door that is very easy to get in or out of. There is a large closable mesh window on the main door provides good views and awesome airflow. The pole supported awning over the main door provides a Dry Entry and allows for improved ventilation, even in rain. There is also a foot vent that improves airflow through the tent. The Freestanding design means you can pitch it practically anywhere! Virtually identical to the Nightwatch 2 the FL version but uses lighter poles and ultralight fabrics.
