Another side benefit of that new routing is that braking feels easier and more natural thanks to a redesigned brake pull pivot which makes it easier to brake from the hoods, and allows for true two finger or even one finger with discs braking. The shape of the lever has a whole has also been redesigned to be smaller and more svelt, with an easy natural shape that won't strain your wrists and fits effortlessly in the hand.
